Does sappy romance make you feel like tossing your cookies? Do you cringe at the sight of pink?? Do you prefer a night at the club over an intimate dinner? Are you a lay it on the line type of girl, letting your guy always know the way it is? If so then I would say you’re a fierce girl? Let yourself roar with an edgy type of look. Try a leather jacket (loving this peplum one), paired with animal print pants, stilettos that demand attention, and lastly, a bedroom look that will have him begging for more…xo Robin
If your guy has tattoos, plays in a band, and has a wild side then here’s what to wear on a Friday night date night…you want your look a be edgy chic! A leopard print dress will bring out your wild side…I own this dress and like to pair it with a leather jacket! It’s cold out this evening so in order to keep my toes warm I would opt for an ankle bootie in a shade of burgundy to add a p.o.c. (pop of color). How you accessorize is going to be the key to finalizing this look. A bold spike ring will scream rocker and also serve as a weapon in case he misbehaves, add a bold cuff bracelet, a statement necklace, and a simple pair of skull studs to complete the ensemble! Ok let’s not forget about undergarments…you still want to continue the vibe underneath so I found the perfect bra and panty set!! Lastly, your cosmetics…do a wine lip, black nails, and a spritz of patchouli scented perfume…I guarantee it will drive him crazy! Here’s to a great date night, a pomegranate martini or two, and love…xo
My obsession with the fisherman sweater started way back…when my mom hand knitted a gorgeous button up wool version for my father! I realized how cool it was to rock his oversized sweater with my broken in Levi’s, and Timberlands boots (it was the early 80’s give me a break here)! My obsession resurfaced on a recent buying trip were I had the pleasure of meeting the Branigan’s, a father and son duo straight from Ireland, who are manufacturer’s of hand-woven capes, sweaters, and other yummy wool pieces straight from the Emerald Isle. My chat with the Branigan’s gave me a full history of the fisherman sweater…the wool kept the fisherman warm and dry, the waters were rough and often these men were lost at sea and their sweaters helped identify who they were as each family had their own stitch! This only made me appreciate these sweaters that much more. Sooo…my Monday Must Have…A fisherman Sweater! But no longer the kind you pair with jeans (well still love that look!). But let’s take it up a notch!
I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the whole sweatshirt/sweatpant trend! An awesome way to be cozy, comfortable, and cute! But remember it’s not about those big oversized ones advertising your favorite vacation spot, football team, holiday, or cartoon charcater! Keep it looking good by staying with appropriate proportions, pairing with richer items (like leather and great shoes) and choosing something with a little whimsy, but not too much!
