Every New Year I sit down and make a list a things I would like to accomplish in the year ahead…I don’t consider them resolutions…just simply things I yearn to do. I keep it short and sweet. So, here is my list of 6 things that I vow to do in 2014…1. Grow my hair really long again! 2. Add that amazing rose tattoo pictured below to my body. 3. Buy myself those Jimmy Choo shoes, I’m obsessed with the color! 4. Continue to follow my dreams (life is short!). 5. Buy myself a vintage camper to redo and take camping, preferably on a beach. 6. Stay in a treehouse in Costa Rica. So,There you have it! I hope you too will go after at least one thing you desire, whether it be life changing or just simply buying a pair of shoes you’ve always lusted after…just remember life is short…xo Robin
Pantone has officially announced the color of 2014…Radiant Orchid! Here is what Pantone’s executive team had to say about its choice: “An enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm.” What do you think of it? Yay or Nay? I personally think it’s a vivid, happy shade that will flatter all skin tones & hair colors, and will can a dose of fun to interiors (my bedroom is orchid, it’s such a beautiful color!) and design elements in general. If this color makes you nervous try small pops at a time…a manicure or pedicure. a scarf with just a hint, or go a little bolder with a shoe or purse, or go full on and wear an orchid leather dress! Try this gorgeous shade, I promise it will have you looking good! xo Robin
I don’t know about you, but I feel as if Fall is right around the corner! Especially since my textbook size Fall editions of my favorite magazines have been arriving daily (my poor mail lady)! My favorite thing about Fall is the unveiling off all the latest fashion trends! So over the course of this week I’ll be sharing some of favorites with you! First up, Animal Prints! Most of these items are personally mine so as you can see I love animal prints! The best way to add this to your wardrobe is to think less is more! One animal at a time! When working with animal-phobic clients I recommend starting small. My #1 recommendations typically are a hair-calf leopard print skinny belt, a cheetah print scarf, a snake print clutch, or any other accessory and then work your way up with larger items! Animal print always adds fun, style, and a bit of sophistication to any look!
Day 3 of Stacy London’s trends; Lace! Lace for every occasion! My advice, keep it unexpected…pair a feminine top with something a little edgier, like leather pants. Try lace at the office with a pencil skirt or for everyday wear lace with distressed denim! xo Happy Sunday!
